the CV Softball Program
About

Castle View Softball was founded on four main core values; honesty, integrity, discipline, and pride. We focus on controlling what you can control, attitude and effort. Teamwork is an essential part of this. We encourage athletes to take care of themselves mentally and physically. Finding your why, and the reason you want to play, and playing for a purpose.
Our coaches are here to help you become the best version of yourself. Everyday, we practice like it's a game. We play fearlessly, unafraid to make mistakes. Instead of focusing on mistakes, let it go, and just learn from it. We require our players to treat others the way they want to be treated and support your teammates. We take all of this a step forward and applying the lessons we learn from softball in real life.

Assistant Varsity Coach
Izzy Fierro
Coach Izzy Fierro's softball journey started right here in Colorado. She played varsity for four years at Highlands Ranch High School and competed with top travel teams like the Colorado Angels, Stars, and Styxs. Her passion for the game led her to play at CSU Pueblo, where she discovered her love for coaching.
Since joining Castle View in 2023, Izzy has made a big impact. She's coached 16U and 18U Batbusters teams, focusing on helping players grow on and off the field. Her coaching style is all about understanding each player's needs and helping them build both skills and confidence.
Players love Coach Izzy's enthusiasm and encouragement. She creates a team environment where everyone feels motivated to do their best and have fun while improving their game.
Outside the softball field she is also a personal trainer and nutrition coach at her local gym. She loves to hike, take care of her plants, and hangout with her friends and family. Coach Izzy's dedication to softball and player development makes her a valuable mentor for young athletes looking to improve their game and grow as individuals.
